It's been four months now since I quit drinking and embarked on a healthier lifestyle, so it's time for an update.

It goes without saying that I feel 100% better. I have more energy and I wake up refreshed and ready for a new day. My skin is softer and the dermatitis has virtually disappeared. I've dropped 15 pounds.

What isn't visible is the emotional health benefits. I'm not so depressed and anxious all the time anymore. I like myself again.

Have you done anything to improve your health and wellbeing lately? I'd love to hear about it. And, if you have, good for you!!

Good for you momoffour! And even better, thank you for sharing such an uplifting experience! This only proves my belief that us mommies are a lot stronger after all the sacrifices that we have to go through for our little ones.

In my case, I have always been drug free although, I wish I could do more exercise and body toning but with a 5 month old, that will have to wait. I guess for now, the best thing I could do for myself is avoid the sweets!

Anyone else has something to share?

It's so hard to avoid the sweets. I have to train myself. And just say no thanks! Otherwise, the dentist bill will scare me away.

I love to exercise but with my family (just the hubby and I) and our new business it's hard to eat right. It's so much easier to just get take out.

But I have been eating more veggies. It's hard too because I am anemic and I need my iron. I love salads because they are never boring. I have to start collecting my easy to make recipes. I really love preparing and cooking but have no time. We are even launching our children's line. Sometimes, I feel like I do have a child, it's my business.
